Severe Weather Threat Ends, Cold Temperatures Expected
The threat of severe weather in Alabama has ended for the night, but expect colder air to linger through the night and into the morning.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — A line of storms tracked near the Mississippi/Alabama line could bring some severe weather to the state Sunday evening, according to the National Weather Service in Birmingham.
A Tornado Watch was issued earlier Sunday afternoon for nearby Walker, Cullman and Tuscaloosa counties, in additions to most northeaster counties in the state. The watch ended just after 9 p.m.
All counties that were in the earlier tornado watch have been cleared! Showers/an isolated storm continue eastward across Central Alabama tonight, though the severe threat has seemingly ended. Highs in the 50s on Monday with sunshine returning. pic.twitter.com/UAwP0A9YTJ
