Sheriff’s Office Investigating Shooting In McCalla

MCCALLA, AL - Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a shooting Friday night at a business in the 5100 block of Charles Hamilton Road in McCalla.

The adult male victim reported that he had been working in the shop when he was approached by two men. One of the men pointed a gun at him and demanded his wallet. After the victim gave them the wallet he was shot. The suspects fled in a green sedan. The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
