BIRMINGHAM, AL - The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that occurred at a Walgreens pharmacy in Center Point Tuesday night.Just after 5 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a person shot on the parking lot of the store on Center Point Parkway. They arrived to find an adult male and an adult female in a car suffering injuries caused by flying glass. Investigators say no one was shot. The injured were taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.Preliminary information is that a person riding in the car with the victims exchanged gunfire with another group in a separate car. The victims pulled into the parking lot and the other car fled the scene. Four people have been detained and are being questioned by detectives.
