Sheriff's Office Looks To ID Vehicle In Shooting Death Of Teen
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is trying to identify a Nissan Altima believed to be in involved in a fatal shooting.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — Jefferson County investigators are trying to locate a vehicle they say was involved in the August 22 shooting death of 14-year-old Pharrell Jackson.
Sgt. Joni Money said the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying the whereabouts of the vehicle, described as a silver 4-door Nissan with tinted windows and a sunroof (shown below).

Money said the occupants are suspects in the August 22 shooting, which killed Jackson and seriously injured three others. According to reports, Jackson was out with others early that morning. The victims were leaving the Crown Bar and Lounge on 19th Street in Ensley.

The victims may have been followed to the intersection of Allison-Bonnett Memorial Drive and Rutledge Drive in Midfield, where the vehicle in question is thought to have pulled along side them, Money said.
Investigators believe that the occupants of the pictured vehicle opened fire on the victim’s vehicle. Three other occupants were transported to local hospitals with life threatening injuries. There have been no public updates on their condition.

Detectives are asking for anyone with information on the vehicle or the offenders to contact the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office at 205-325-1450.
