Shooting In East Birmingham: 1 Dead, 1 Injured
Two gunshot victims were taken to UAB Hospital Sunday night after an altercation in east Birmingham.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — One victim is dead and another remains hospitalized after a shooting in east Birmingham Sunday night. The incident occurred at 102 Shawnee Lane just after 7 p.m.
Both victims were transported to UAB hospital by Birmingham Fire & Rescue for treatment, according to the Birmingham Police Department. Detectives were later notified one of the victims succumb to their injuries and was pronounced dead by hospital staff.
Birmingham PD identified the deceased victim as Gjamal Antonio Rodriqcus, 27.

Police do not have any suspects in the case thus far.
