Shooting In Ensley Wounds 5, Including Juvenile
Five people were rushed to two Birmingham hospitals after a shooting Sunday night in Birmingham's Belview Heights community.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - A shooting in Ensley Sunday left five victims hospitalized, including a juvenile. The incident occurred at approximately 8:40 p.m. in the Belview Heights community.
Birmingham police Sgt. Johnny Williams said gunfire broke out on Warrior Road at Avenue O and continued for several blocks, according to a report by Alabama Media Group. All of the victims were in a Dodge Avenger that finally stopped in the 1400 block of 45th Street Ensley. Williams said an unknown suspect opened fire on the vehicle and continued to shoot for three to four blocks before fleeing the scene.

Four of the victims were taken to UAB Hospital’s Trauma Center. The fifth victim - the juvenile - was taken to Children’s of Alabama. Williams said two of the adult’s injuries are considered life-threatening.
