Shooting In Woodlawn Leaves Man Dead

BIRMINGHAM, AL - A shooting at 981 52nd Place North in Woodlawn Thursday night resulted in the death of a 63-year-old man. This was the 64th homicide in Birmingham this year.

A report by Alabama Media Group said the victim has been identified as Gregory C. Hrabowski. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. Thursday and Hrabowski was found to have a single gunshot would when police arrived at the scene. Hrabowsli was transported to UAB hospital where he was pronounced dead at approximately 11:30 p.m.

Investigators have no motive on the shooting and no suspect information.
