Shots Fired Near Birmingham Playground, No Injuries Reported

Police say a shootout just yards away from a Birmingham playground is under investigation.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — An exchange of gunfire broke out in a Birmingham neighborhood Tuesday, just feet away from children playing in a local playground, according to an Alabama Media Group report. The incident occured just before noon in the 3000 block of 32nd Avenue North in Collegeville.

Police say no one was injured during the shooting.
