Birmingham Homicide Under Investigation: Police

BIRMINGHAM, AL — A shooting in south Birmingham Tuesday night is under investigation after Birmingham police found a victim unresponsive at 963 47th Street North. The incident occurred just before 10 a.m.

Sgt. Rod Mauldin of the Birmingham Police Department said the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene, has not been identified publicly, pending notification of next of kin.

Police do not have any suspects or a motive at this time.
