Starbucks Opening In CrossPlex Development
The new Starbucks location the CrossPlex development will include an employee training center.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - A new Starbucks location in Birmingham may not seem like big news anymore, but the latest Starbucks addition to the Birmingham business community certainly is. Opening August 31, the new location in the CrossPlex development will not only be a full-service Starbucks coffee shop, but will also serve as a employee training facility for the store.
A report by the Birmingham Business Journal said Starbucks is partnering with local women and minority-owned contractors, vendors and artists, as well as the local workforce to open the new location at 2337 Bessemer Road as part of a larger push to open at least 15 locations in underserved communities in the U.S. by 2018.
