Strong Thunderstorms Expected Today And Tomorrow
The Naional Weather Service reports that strong thunderstorms are expected for the Birmingham metro.
BIRMINGHAM, AL - The National Weather Service reported this morning that rain is expected for today and tomorrow, with some storms becoming heavy by Tuesday afternoon.
Although the NWS says the storms may not be severe, thunderstorms are expected throughout Central Alabama, up to a half an inch of rain is expected. Reports say thunderstorms will move across the Birmingham metro after 10 a.m.

The rain should continue Wednesday through Saturday, with a 50 percent chance of precipitation both Thursday and Friday, and a 20 percent chance on Saturday. Like Tuesday, some of the rain will likely be heavy.
