The University of Alabama at Birmingham needs your help Thursday, June 25, for Day of Caring, an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.
Donations may be made on the Day of Caring website, uab.edu/dayofcaring. UAB asks donors to support any of its funds:

- The Coronavirus Response Support Fund supports research for a COVID-19 treatment or vaccine.
- The Student COVID-19 Emergency Fund provides emergency aid to students in all colleges and schools facing lost wages, relocation expenses, decrease in financial support from parents and more due to the pandemic.
- The Benevolent Fund assists UAB faculty and staff in need, including those affected by the pandemic, through Blazer Kitchen and emergency aid.
- The COVID-19 Symptom Tracker supports the growth and expansion of COVID-19 data collection and management through the COVID-19 Symptom Tracker website, as well as future efforts to connect with ground-based collection in affected communities.
