Surprise Party For Moody Elementary School Janitor Goes Viral
National political video website Now This has made a surprise party for an Alabama custodian an internet sensation.

MOODY, AL - Moody Elementary School custodian Eugene Hinton was called into the gymnasium by a teacher to clean up a mess, which was not abnormal for Hinton. What he saw when he entered the gym was beyond what he would have ever suspected. A surprise party was waiting for him as he entered, and his emotional response has been shared over social media nationwide.

The party was for National Custodian Day, October 2. Hinton, who has been referred to as a "superhero" by students, was honored with the party and showed is surprise with a tearful reaction.

A report by WHNT said third grade teacher Andrea Tatum lured Hinton into the gym under the pretense of cleaning up an accident. After asking "Is it real bad?" he grabbed a spray bottle and mop and headed for the door. He was greeted by a gym full of cheering students who gave him high-fives and handmade gifts.
Hinton has worked at Moody Elementary School for two years, cleaning up after more than 900 children.
