Suspect Charged In Birmingham Church's Chicken Shooting
A Tarrant man has been arrested, accused of opening fire in the parking lot of a Birmingham Church's Chicken last week.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - The Birmingham Police Department has arrested a suspect accused of opening fire in the parking lot of a Church's Chicken restaurant last week.
The shooting happened shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. During the investigation, detectives were able to identify the suspect as 27-year-old Ladarius Bloxom of Tarrant.

According to a report by Alabama Media Group, no one was injured in the gunfire, but Birmingham police Lt. Pete Williston said the suspect was trying to shoot someone in the parking lot in the 7500 block of First Avenue North.
Bloxom is charged with attempted murder, discharging a firearm into an occupied building, discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle and discharging a firearm into an unoccupied vehicle. He is being held in the Jefferson County Jail on bonds totaling $300,000.
