Suspect Charged With Strong Arm Robbery Of Elderly Man
A 49-year-old Center Point man has been arrested and charged with the September 4 robbery of an 85-year-old man.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - A 49-year-old Center Point man has been arrested and charged with the September 4 robbery of an 85-year-old man. The incident occurred in the 1600 block of 1st Street NE, and the suspect, Dexter Keith Brock, was arrested September 5.
The 85-year-old male victim reported that, as he was getting into his car, he was approached by a man who demanded his wallet. The suspect took the wallet by force and pushed the victim to the ground. The victim was not seriously injured, and the suspect fled on foot.

Sheriff’s detectives found Brock at his apartment and questioned him about the robbery. Brock admitted to robbing the victim and taking his wallet. He was arrested and charged with Robbery 3rd Degree.
