Suspects Sought In Beauty Supply Store Robbery
The Birmingham PD is investigating a holdup at a beauty supply store in southwest Birmingham.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — The Birmingham Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred Wednesday night.
Sgt. Johnny Williams of the Birmingham PD said two masked suspects approached the store clerk of C&C Beauty Supply located at 136 6th Avenue Southwest just after 6:30 p.m. As the suspects presented handguns and demanded money from the register, the store owner began to fire at the suspects. The suspects returned gunfire as they fled the business. There were no injuries during the robbery.
The Birmingham PD released security video footage of the incident Thursday.
