A 17-year-old suspect has been charged with capital murder in a Bessemer double homicide.

BESSEMER, AL — Police have charged a 17-year-old suspect with capital murder in a Bessemer homicide. An Alabama Media Group report said the teen was charged Wednesday in the Saturday night slayings of Javier Monzon Mendoza and Jason Mendiola.
The incident occurred at home in the 600 block of Bell Street in Bessemer’s Jonesboro community, according to al.com.
