Teen Killed In Wylam Shooting
An 18-year-old male was killed in the Wylam neighborhood of Birmingham Monday night.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — A shooting Monday night in the Wylam neighborhood of Birmingham claimed the life of a teenage male victim. The victim has been identified as 18-year-old Calvin De’onte Vance.
A report by WBRC said police were called to 10th Avenue and Gulfport Street around 8:40 p.m. Monday. When they arrived, they found an unidentified victim in the middle of the street suffering a gunshot wound. Medics were called to the scene where they pronounced Vance dead.
Police said Tuesday morning that no suspect has been identified.
