Teen Steals Birmingham Transit Bus, Police Chase Ensues: Report
Videos posted online show two police SUVs chasing a Birmingham MAX Transit bus through the city's Kingston section.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — A teenager stole a small Birmingham MAX Transit bus and led police on a chase through residential neighborhoods Sunday morning, a local media outlet reported.
Videos posted online show two police SUVs pursuing the bus down residential streets in the city's Kingston section.
WVTM-TV reported the teen had escaped from a juvenile detention facility before stealing a bus and smashing into two police vehicles during the chase.

The driver ran over spike strips and got out of the vehicle near 44th Street and 9th Avenue North, the tv station reported. Police were still looking for him.
