Three Suspects Arrested In Human Trafficking Case
Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the trafficking of a 16-year old girl.
BIRMINGHAM, AL - Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the trafficking of a 16-year-old girl. Those arrested are: LaCrystal Renae Crawford, 31; Tyrone Allen, 44, and James Cornelius Harris, 36. All are from Birmingham.
According to a report by Alabama Media Group, Birmingham police spokesman Sgt. Johnny Williams said the investigation began Monday, July 23, when investigators received information about a possible human trafficking victim.

After talking to the girl, investigators learned that three suspects were moving the victim around the Birmingham area to various hotels for the purpose of sexual servitude. The arrest warrants against the suspects state they knowingly recruited, enticed, solicited, induced threatened, isolated, harbored or held the juvenile girl to engage in sexual servitude.
The suspects were taken into custody by the Birmingham Police Department and placed in the custody of the Jefferson County Jail. Crawford and Allen on Friday remained in the Jefferson County Jail. Crawford's bond is set $15,000 while Allen's bond is set at $20,000. Harris has already been released after posting $30,000 bond.
