Traffic Fatality In Bagley: 80-Year-Old Victim Dead

JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — A single-vehicle accident in the Jefferson County community of Bagley resulted in a fatality last week. The incident occurred Nov. 15 on Bethel Road.

Sgt. James Perry of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said deputies found an 80-year-old man trapped in an overturned vehicle when they arrived on the scene. He was pronounced dead on the scene by the Bagley Fire Department.

Perry said the accident is believed to be the result of a medical illness. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office will complete an examination to determine the cause of death.
