Traffic Stop In McCalla Yields Meth, Cocaine, Pills
A man was charged by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office with multiple drug offenses after a traffic stop in McCalla.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — A traffic stop Tuesday in McCalla by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office resulted in an arrest after meth, cocaine and pills were discovered in the vehicle.
Sgt. Joni Money of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said Timothy Blake Allen Swafford was stopped in the 800 block of Delta Street in McCalla and was found in possession of 86 grams of methamphetamine, two grams of cocaine, an assortment of illegal pills, drug paraphernalia and more than $2,900 in currency.
Swafford was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a controlled substances and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. His bonds total $181,000.
