Trim Tab Brewery Teams With Georgia-Based Wild Leap On New Beer
Trim Tab Brewery in Birmingham has teamed with Wild Leap Brewery in LaGrange, Ga., to make a new summer double IPA.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — The days are getting hotter and longer as summer is in full swing in Alabama, and during hot summer days, a summer beer is often the drink of choice for adults in the area. So Birmingham's Trim Tab Brewery has teamed up with LaGrange, Ga.-based Wild Leap Brewery to make a new beer called Coco Flamingo Double IPA.
The beer was released in Georgia the last week of June, and became available in Alabama the first week of July.
The Coco Flamingo Double IPA, a hazy, tropical double IPA with a unique flavor profile, is a natural spin-off of the two breweries’ style and craftsmanship. With a blend of tangerine, key lime, and toasted coconut, Coco Flamingo is a limited edition summer brew.

"Alongside the fresh fruit elements, the Sabro and Lotus hops embody the strong toasted coconut and orange, fruit punch flavor profiles in this beer," said Luke Garner, Head Brewer of TrimTab. "Without being sweet, it is the perfect marriage of a double IPA and a pina colada."
