Two Children Shot In North Birmingham
Birmingham police are investigating an apparent drive-by shooting on Burgundy Road that injured two children.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — A boy and a girl were shot in an apparent drive-by shooting Thursday night in north Birmingham. Both are expected to recover from the injuries.
The incident occurred just after 8:30 p.m. Thursday. The shooter was aiming for an unoccupied dwelling when he hit the two children, according to a report by Alabama Media Group.
The children were taken to Children’s Hospital by Birmingham Fire and Rescue, and rteportedly have non-life-threatening injuries.
