Two Victims Shot On Valley Avenue Sunday

Both victims in the shooting were hospitalized, but neither appears to have sustained life-threatening injuries.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - A shooting Sunday on Birmingham;s Valley Avenue left two victims wounded, although neither appear to have suffered life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred at roughly 3 a.m. Sunday.

A report by Alabama Media Group said the shooting was reported at an address that is listed for the Upper Deck, a karaoke bar, but workers said the shooting actually happened nearby and reportedly one of the victims ran to the business parking lot seeking help.

One victim was reportedly taken to the hospital by Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service, while the other victim drove himself to the hospital. Their injuries are not life-threatening. Investigators have not determined a motive, and no arrests have been made.
