Two women have been charged with harassment and disorderly conduct following a confrontation with a school bus driver.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - Two women have been charged with harassment and disorderly conduct following an Aug. 31 confrontation with a school bus driver. Last week, deputies obtained arrest warrants charging Angela Davidson with disorderly conduct and harassment and Ashley Johnson with disorderly conduct, harassment, and criminal mischief. The women were reportedly upset about the location of the school bus stop.

The incident occurred just before 4:00 pm on Aug. 31, when deputies were called to the 2700 block of 6th Street NE to investigate a report that a bus driver had been assaulted. The driver reported that he was finishing his route when he was approached by two women who began yelling obscenities at him. One of the women spit on him through the window and punched him in the side of the head. The other woman tried to punch him but missed. Before leaving, one of the women allegedly tried to tear the crossing arm off the front of the bus. The victim recognized one of them, but not the other.
