Two Women Found In Car With Gunshot Wounds In Ensley
Two women were found shot in their car in an Ensley neighborhood over the weekend

BIRMINGHAM, AL - Two women were found in a car in Ensley suffering from gunshot wounds over the weekend. Both were transported to a local hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
The incident occurred Friday night at approximately 10 p.m., according to an Alabama Media Group report. Police said they don’t where the shooting happened, but said the victims were found in a vehicle in the 2600 block of 20th Street.
West Precinct Sgt. Kesha Bogus said it appeared bullets entered the vehicle from the rear and struck the women. Residents said they did not hear any gunfire near where the victims were found. They said they believed the victims had family in the area and that was why they drove to where they were found.
