AL GOP Senate Results: Runoff Between Sessions, Tuberville

The lead on the GOP race has swapped between Tommy Tuberville and Jeff Sessions throughout the night.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — The Republican nominee for U.S. Senate could not be decided Tuesday, as a run-off is projected between former senator Jeff Sessions and former Auburn football coach Tommy Tuberville.

Tuberville and Sessions swapped the lead throughout the night, with neither one ever pulling away.

Bradley Byrne: 25 percent

Roy Moore: 8 percent

Ruth Page Nelson: 1 percent

Jeff Sessions: 32 percent

Tommy Tuberville: 33 percent

The runoff will take place Tuesday, March 31.
