UAB's Bill Clark Nominated For Coach Of The Year Award
For the third consecutive year, UAB head coach Bill Clark has been nominated for the Paul "Bear" Bryant Award.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — Since UAB's football team returned from a two-year hiatus in 2017, there have been a couple of constants: UAB has not lost at home, and head coach Bill Clark is a nominee for at least one Coach of the Year award.
Clark is one of 22 coaches named to this year's Paul "Bear" Bryant Award watch list and is the lone representative from Conference USA to earn the distinction.
After last year's record-setting season in which the Blazers finished 11-3 overall and captured their first C-USA title, Clark was a finalist for this award and flew to Houston for the ceremony. The 2018 award was ultimately given to Clemson's Dabo Swinney.

Clark joins Alabama's Nick Saban and Auburn's Gus Malzahn on the nominee list again this year.
