University Of Alabama Ranked No. 1 Party School: Princeton Review

In its annual rankings of colleges and universities across the U.S., the Princeton Review ranked UA as the country's top party school.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The University of Alabama has grown accustomed to being ranked No. 1 in football, but the university recently came in with a different kind of top ranking. In its annual rankings of colleges and universities across the U.S., the Princeton Review ranked UA as the No. 1 party school in the country.

While this would be considered a dubious honor by school officials and parents of students, the school also ranked no. 1 for Greek life, which may also contribute highly to the university's reputation as a party school.

The Princeton Review ranked schools in more than 60 categories. In the survey, students are asked to rate their schools on dozens of topics and report on their campus experiences.

Auburn University ranked No. 1 for its athletic facilities, which bodes well for the Tigers' recruitment of student-athletes.

The 2021 Best 386 Colleges were selected based on "our high opinion of their academics," the Princeton Review said in announcing its newest list. The organization said it monitors colleges "continuously and annually" to collect data on more than 2,000 schools.

In determining the "best," The Princeton Review said it also visits schools and communicates with hundreds of college administrators in compiling its assessment.

"We pay close attention to the feedback we get about colleges from students, parents, educators, and our own staff at The Princeton Review locations across the country," the organization said.
