Update: Victim Killed By Train In Birmingham Identified
A man killed by a train in downtown Birmingham has been identified by authorities.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - A man hot and killed by a train in downtown Birmingham July 15 has been identified as 44-year-old Armando Roys-Mares of North Augusta, S.C.
Birmingham police said Roys-Mares was struck at 18th Street and Morris Avenue. The train stopped near 14th Street SW after the conductor was made aware of the accident. Police say a witness walked to Fire Station 6 and alerted emergency crews of the incident.
