Homewood Chili Cook-Off; Brookwood Village; 12 p.m.: More than 60 teams compete in a chili cooking competition, while thousands of guests enjoy live music, chili tasting, fun, and games.
Patton Creek Art Festival; Creekside Ave., Hoover, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.: Pp to 50 Fine Artist and Master Crafts for patrons to browse through. Food trucks and picnic tables will be there for your lunch among the arts. Wheelchair friendly. Free admission.
