Woman Dies In Birmingham House Fire
A fire at a home on Division Avenue early Thursday morning claimed the life of a 55-year-old woman.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — A 55-year-old woman is dead after a house fire in Birmingham early Thursday morning, according to an Alabama Media Group report. The fire occurred in the 7900 block of Division Avenue.
The fire was caused by unattended cooking, according to Birmingham Fire & Rescue officials, and the victim was rescued from the home and taken to UAB Hospital where she later died.
