Woman, Dog Killed In Fultondale Fire
A woman and her dog died Tuesday when a fire swept through her Fultondale home Tuesday.
FULTONDALE, AL - A house fire in Fultondale Tuesday resulted in the deaths of a woman and her dog. The fire occurred just before 11:30 a.m. at a home in the 5700 block of 33rd Street North in the Lewisburg Gardens neighborhood.
A report by Alabama Media Group said once firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze, they found the woman and her pet. Both were pronounced dead on the scene.

Authorities are withholding the woman’s name pending notification of her family members. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing with the Alabama State Fire Marshal’s Office and Fultondale authorities.
