Woodfin Chooses Leadership Team For Mayor's Office

Mayor-elect Randall Woodfin has chosen his leadership team for his upcoming term.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - Birmingham's newly-elected mayor Randall Woodfin announced his new leadership team as he prepares to begin his term Nov. 28.

Cedric Sparks will be Woodfin's chief of staff. He is a longtime leader of Birmingham's Division of Youth Services.

Kevin Moore, former Birmingham Park and Recreation Board director, will be the city's chief operating officer.

Ed Fields will be senior adviser and chief strategist. Fields, a veteran marketing executive in Birmingham, was Woodfin's campaign manager.

Kelvin Datcher, who was the Director of Investor Relations for REV Birmingham, will serve as director of intergovernmental affairs.

Nicole King will serve as city attorney.
