• Calera police arrest 3 juveniles in Camden Cove vehicle break-ins, recover stolen pistol (abc3340.com) — Calera police say three juveniles under 14 have been arrested after a series of vehicle break-ins in the Camden Cove subdivision, where a pistol and other items were taken from unlocked cars. Officers recovered the gun, which had already reached another child, and are urging residents to lock vehicles, avoid leaving firearms inside, and report any unreported thefts to help prevent more serious crimes.
