• Trussville Daybreak Rotary recognizes September Student, Teacher of the Month (newsaegis.com) — A Clay-Chalkville High School senior has been honored as the Trussville Daybreak Rotary Club’s September Student of the Month, spotlighting academic success and leadership from the Clay community. She also recognized her English teacher as Teacher of the Month for helping prepare students for life after graduation. Residents can connect with the Rotary Club online if they’d like to support future projects.
   

• Bianca Judd Allen (davidsoncountysource.com) — A longtime member of Mt. Calvary Presbyterian Church in Clay is being remembered for her faith, generosity, and deep involvement in local birding and civic groups. The obituary highlights her decades with BellSouth, leadership in conservation organizations, and her commitment to neighbors in Clay. A memorial service will be held Saturday in Madisonville, Tennessee, with donations suggested to Dauphin Island Bird Sanctuaries.
