• Parents Praise First Day at NWGA Charter Academy; Community School Reopens After 5-Year Effort (coosavalleynews.com) — Families in Cave Spring can now enroll students at the new Northwest Georgia Charter Academy, which has reopened the community’s long-cherished school as a tuition‑free K–12 program. Located on the Georgia School for the Deaf campus, it’s starting with limited seats in kindergarten and 5th grade and will add grades yearly, reviving a tradition dating back to 1839.
