• Pilots safely eject from military aircraft after ‘mishap' on Lamar, Fayette County line (fox40jackson.com) — A military training jet from Columbus Air Force Base crashed just across the Lamar–Fayette County line Tuesday, with both pilots safely ejecting before impact. The Air Force is investigating the cause, and the crash site is reported off Raspberry Road in Lamar County, very close to Fayette County residents.
