• Man dies in hospital following serious crash near Town Creek (whnt.com) — A 34-year-old Florence man has died from injuries suffered in a July 2 crash on Alabama 157 near Town Creek, according to state troopers. He was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital, where he passed away Friday; the driver of his vehicle, also injured, was treated at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence as the investigation continues.
