• Foley Main Street earns 2026 national accreditation designation (gulfcoastmedia.com) — Foley Main Street has earned the prestigious 2026 Accredited Main Street America designation, recognizing years of focused work revitalizing downtown Foley. Since 2018, the group reports millions in private and public investment, plus grants and training that directly support local small businesses and entrepreneurs shaping the city’s core. 
• Police: DHR takes custody after Foley drug bust with missing juveniles found in car (mynbc15.com) — Foley Police say two missing Florida juveniles were found in a vehicle on Highway 59 in Foley, where officers also reported discovering fentanyl, psilocybin mushrooms, and drug paraphernalia. The children’s parents were arrested on multiple drug and child endangerment charges, and Alabama DHR took custody of the juveniles while Florida authorities were notified.
• SEEDS Grant Supports New Industrial Development Site in Foley (cityoffoley.org) — Foley has secured a $3.33 million state SEEDS grant to buy 121 acres along the Foley Beach Express for a new industrial park, aimed at bringing more employers and high-paying jobs. Local and state leaders say the project will expand the city’s limited industrial space, support long-term growth, and position Foley as a top contender for major manufacturers and other industries.
