Alabaster Man Killed In Wreck On I-65 In Hoover
A 51-year-old Alabaster man was killed in a wreck Sunday night on I-65 in Hoover.
HOOVER, AL — A wreck on I-65 at the Cahaba River Bridge in Hoover Sunday night claimed the life of a 51-year-old man.
Police said the incident occurred just before 9 p.m. when a Chevrolet Avalanche rear-ended a Ford Excursion that was pulling a trailer. The Avalanche then struck the median wall and rolled over, partially ejecting the driver, according to witnesses.
The man has been identified as Philip O'Neal Amick of Alabaster.
