88-Year-Old Woman Dies After Car Accident In Hoover

HOOVER, AL — An 88-year-old woman who was involved in a car accident in Hoover last week has died. Pelham resident Carol Stamps Kinnebrew was a passenger in a vehicle involved in an accident the afternoon of Sept. 17 on John Hawkins Parkway at Merchants Drive.

A Hoover PD report said Kinnebrew was a passenger in a vehicle that was struck on the passenger’s side by a pickup truck. The impact caused the victim’s vehicle to overturn.

She was taken to UAB Hospital where she died Saturday at 3:46 p.m. Hoover police are investigating the incident.
