Arrest Made In Galleria Parking Deck Robbery

The Hoover Police Department arrested Albert Ward III and charged him with First Degree Robbery.

HOOVER, AL - The Hoover Police Department made an arrest last week in a robbery that took place in the parking lot of the Riverchase Galleria December 6. The suspect, Albert Ward, III, was charged with First Degree Robbery.

Hoover Police responded to the Galleria Dec. 6 after a female reported being robbed at gunpoint of her 2013, Nissan Pathfinder. She described the suspect as being a black male, wearing a tan jacket with a grey hood. While investigating this case, officers learned of a vehicle theft case that took place in Birmingham earlier that day involving the same suspect. That vehicle was recovered in the JC Penny parking lot. Detectives learned that the Nissan Pathfinder was spotted in the Atlanta area hours after it was stolen.
