Arrest Made In Hoover Armed Robbery Case
Hoover police arrested an 18-year-old suspect in an armed robbery case from March 25.

HOOVER, AL — Hoover police have charged an 18-year-old suspect in the March 25 armed robbery of three Hoover teens.
Officers responded to a report of three juveniles being robbed at gunpoint near the 2100 building at Latitude at Riverchase apartments, according to a Hoover Police Department report. The victims reported they made contact with an acquaintance who asked to use their cellphones. When the victims got ready to leave, the suspect pulled a handgun and demanded the phones and cash from all three juveniles, police said.
The Hoover police report said that after the incident, one of the victims told a parent who then called police. The suspect was identified by all three victims as 18-year-old Eddie Jermaine Bruce III of Hoover.

Bruce was taken into custody by Hoover Police patrol officers Saturday morning at the 1900 building at Latitude at Riverchase apartments. He was transported to the Hoover City Jail and later transferred to the Jefferson County Jail where he remains in custody on $60,000 bond.
