Car Break-in Suspect Sought By Hoover PD
The Hoover Police Department is seeking a man who broke into a vehicle in Hoover and used a stolen credit card in Irondale and Birmingham.

HOOVER, AL - The Hoover Police Department is currently trying to identify a man they believe broke into a vehicle in Greystone and stole a wallet full of credit cards. This individual is wanted for questioning on two felony charges: burglary and unlawful breaking and entering motor vehicle.
The incident occurred on December 10 at a residence on Greystone Way. One of the stolen items was the victim’s wallet which contained several credit cards. Later that day, the suspect used the stolen cards to purchase several thousand dollars’ worth of merchandise at area businesses (Game Stop, Walmart, Sally’s Beauty Supply and China Buffet) in Irondale and Birmingham.
The white male suspect was wearing a unique “Minion” skull cap/hat. Vehicle information is unknown. "We understand the quality of the photos is not ideal," a HPD official said in a statement. "That being said, someone out there knows who this person is, and the hat might give him away."
