Crew Of Theft Suspects Wanted By Hoover Police

The Hoover Police Department is looking for several suspects they say are involved in multiple thefts in the area.

HOOVER, AL — The Hoover Police Department is looking for a group of suspects that they say has been involved in multiple thefts across the Birmingham metro area. The most recent incident occurred April 17 at Lowe’s on Valleydale Road.

Police say the people in security footage posted Friday are suspected of cutting security cables, then loading up two Husqvarna zero turn mowers (valued at more than $5,500) on a utility trailer pulled by a black SUV (unknown tag). The three of them left the scene without attempting to pay, police say.

Hoover police said this crew is also suspected of similar thefts at home improvement stores In Trussville, Homewood, Leeds, Northport, Bessemer and Tuscaloosa.
