Domestic-Related Shooting Under Investigation By Hoover Police
The Hoover Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a 61-year-old man hospitalized with serious injuries.
HOOVER, AL — Hoover police are investigating a domestic-related shooting that left a 61-year-old man hospitalized with serious injuries. The incident occurred just before 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the 3500 block of Polo Parc Court.
A release by the Hoover Police Department said the victim’s father called 911 to report that he shot his son during a domestic violence situation. The father was transported to the Hoover Police Department for questioning and is cooperating with the investigation, police said.
The victim was taken to UAB Hospital and is being treated for multiple gunshot wounds.
