Epilepsy Foundation Alabama Names New Board Members

BIRMINGHAM, AL — The fight to end epilepsy is anchored in Alabama by the Epilepsy Foundation of Alabama, and the organization just appointed five new board members to continue that fight.

The new appointees to the Advisory Board now bring the board's total membership to 14.

  • Kevin Archer, Director of Business Development, MotionMobs

  • Craig Miller, Senior Territory Sales Manager at Colonial Life

“It is a true pleasure to welcome these five new board members to our chapter advisory board here in Alabama,” said Sara Franklin, Epilepsy Foundation Alabama Executive Director. “Each of these advisory board members have a desire to help lead the fight to end epilepsy both in our state and across the nation.”

“We have a motivated and talented advisory board and it is exciting to welcome our new members,” said Garland Stansell, chief communications officer at Children’s of Alabama and chair of the advisory board at the Epilepsy Foundation of Alabama. “Our board is committed to the Epilepsy Foundation’s mission, and we see great potential for our chapter as we seek to provide resources for those living with epilepsy and to raise awareness of the epilepsies throughout Alabama.”
