Fatal Stabbing In Jefferson County Under Investigation
A stabbing Saturday in Jefferson County left a 27-year-old man dead.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — A 27-year-old man is dead after a stabbing in the Holiday Mobile Home Park on Bessemer Super Highway Saturday. The incident occurred just after 6 p.m. Saturday.
Sgt. Joni Money of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said deputies arrived at the scene and discovered a 27-year-old Hispanic male who had died from stab wounds.
Witnesses stated that the victim and 33-year-old Jesus Rodriquez had an altercation at the Everyday Store on Bessemer Super Highway. Money said the victim then followed Rodriquez to the mobile home park, where Rodriquez stabbed the victim to death.

Rodriquez was taken into custody and is being held on the charge of manslaughter. His bond is set at $15,000.
